8 Bit Link Amiibo: The 7 Best Options, Ranked by Real Buyer Feedback

This figure earns the top spot because its sculpting precision perfectly translates a two-dimensional sprite into a three-dimensional object. It captures the essence of the original NES hero in a way that feels intentional and faithful to the source material.

I consider this the definitive collectible for anyone who grew up with the early days of the franchise. While its in-game utility is limited to standard bonuses, the visual appeal is unmatched.

This version is best suited for the serious collector who values the authenticity of original Japanese packaging. If you want the specific aesthetic of the international release, this is your primary option.

The figure itself is identical to the domestic release, meaning you lose no functionality on your local console. However, I find the reliance on Japanese text for the manual to be a minor hurdle for casual users.

The most interesting feature here is the chibi-inspired aesthetic, which stands in stark contrast to the grittier designs found in the rest of the series. It brings a playful, toy-like quality to the shelf that I find refreshing.

The smooth finish on the figure makes it feel modern and polished. It is a fantastic pick for fans of the newer graphical styles, though it may look out of place next to more realistic figures.

A common complaint is the fragility of the sword on this model, which can be prone to bending if not handled with care. This is a recurring sentiment, so I suggest keeping it in a safe display spot rather than letting it loose in a toy box.

Despite the delicate construction, the dynamic pose is excellent. It captures the spirit of exploration that defines the game, making it a favorite for enthusiasts of the title.

Compared to the Rider figure, this model offers a much more stable base and a less precarious pose. The bow and arrow setup feels more balanced, which I think makes it a better choice for long-term display purposes.

The attention to detail on the quiver and outfit is quite impressive for a figure of this size. It is a sophisticated piece that highlights the complexity of the character design.

This figure gained popularity as a limited 30th-anniversary release, creating a reputation for being a must-have item for completionists. In my assessment, the hype is justified by the crisp paint job and the distinct color choice.

It functions exactly as expected, opening up features in compatible games. While it is not a Zelda character, its place in the 8-bit lineage makes it a logical companion to the other figures in this list.

This figure earns its ranking because of its impressive scale and the bold, heroic stance that effectively commands attention. It is undeniably the most visually striking piece for any fan of the Zora region.

The paintwork captures the unique texture of his skin and armor remarkably well. I believe this is a standout choice for those who want a character that pops against a neutral background.
