Hp Elitedesk 800 G3 Desktop: The 8 Best Options, Ranked by Real Buyer Feedback

This bundle earned its ranking because it delivers an all-inclusive solution right out of the box. You get the capable Intel Core i5-6500 processor paired with a matching display, which completely removes the headache of shopping for separate peripherals.

I'd rank this first for absolute convenience. The inclusion of Windows 11 Pro makes it a secure choice for home offices, though you should remember that the traditional SFF tower takes up considerably more desk space than a mini PC.

This configuration is best suited for budget-conscious office workers who need a reliable machine for everyday computing and standard productivity tasks. It scales back the processor slightly to a 2.5GHz base frequency, but it still maintains enough muscle for heavy web browsing.

In my view, this is a smart entry point if you already own a monitor and just need a traditional tower. The Small Form Factor chassis minimizes desktop clutter, although the lower-tier processor will struggle if you attempt heavy video editing or intensive rendering.

An unexpected feature of this pint-sized powerhouse is its dual 4K monitor support, which lets you drive multiple displays from a chassis small enough to hide behind a book. That capability immediately broadens its appeal for multitasking professionals.

I find the jump to 16GB of DDR4 RAM makes a noticeable difference during heavy multitasking sessions. You do sacrifice internal expansion room compared to a tower, but the footprint savings are hard to ignore.

The most common buyer complaint with these mini business PCs involves limited storage space, but this specific model tackles that limitation head-on with a 512GB SSD. You no longer have to worry about constantly moving files to external drives.

What stood out to me here is the balance of a tiny chassis with ample storage capacity. It comes ready to use with a wired keyboard and mouse, though you should note that the sixth-generation processor is aging and lacks official support for future Windows iterations beyond current versions.

When you compare this directly to the 512GB version ranked just above it, the primary difference comes down to a halving of your storage capacity. It uses the same compact chassis and processor as its sibling, but scales back the internal drive to a modest 256GB.

I would point budget-conscious buyers toward this option if they store everything in the cloud anyway. It handles basic office tasks without any fuss, but you will hit storage limits much faster if you work with large local media files.

This machine became popular because of its stellar reputation for packing enterprise-grade reliability into a remarkably compact frame. That market angle certainly holds up when you examine the hardware specifications closely.

In my ranking, this takes the crown as the ultimate power user choice among the mini form factor selections. The combination of 16GB of RAM and a spacious solid-state drive ensures longevity, though the older processor generation means it is not built for modern high-end gaming.

This machine earned its strong ranking through sheer raw processor power, utilizing an Intel Core i7-6700 to chew through demanding computational workloads. If your daily routine involves heavy number crunching, this tower handles it easily.

I'd recommend this to anyone who prioritizes CPU muscle over desk space efficiency. It lacks the modern flair of the mini units, but the traditional SFF design provides better thermal management and room for internal upgrades.

This tiny workstation is best suited for professionals who demand seventh-generation performance inside a discreet, space-saving enclosure. It steps up the processor generation slightly to squeeze out extra clock speed without increasing the physical footprint.

I appreciate how well this unit bridges the gap between raw computing power and minimalist desk setups. You do pay a slight premium for the upgraded processor, and 8GB of RAM feels a bit restrictive for an i7 machine, but the overall responsiveness is impressive.
