Pauly D Megaphone: The 6 Best Options, Ranked by Real Buyer Feedback

This model earned its high ranking purely on the strength of its impressive 1200 yards range. When you need to project sound across a massive athletic field, this unit handles the job without distorting your voice.

I find that the combination of 30 watt max power and a traditional pistol grip makes it a reliable workhorse. But you do need to supply four D batteries, which adds noticeable heft to your arm during long rallies.

This particular bullhorn suits cheerleaders and school spirit coordinators who want a bit of vibrant color coordination while keeping their equipment professional. The design mirrors the power and range of its silver sibling, offering a 1200 yards range for maximum reach.

I think the choice to swap neutral colors for a bright aesthetic is a fun touch for spirit squads. Yet, you are still relying on four C batteries, so keep a spare set handy if you have all-day tournaments.

Surprisingly, this unit packs a foldable handle design into a chassis that measures just over five inches by eight inches. It is an interesting engineering choice that prioritizes ultimate portability over maximum amplification.

I would rank this lower for massive venues because the projection drops to a 1000 yards range. But for smaller school yards, the 20 watt power output is more than enough to get students listening.

The most common complaint about this green variant is that its 1000 yards range falls short for huge professional sports venues, but that critique misses its core purpose. For local football practices and track coaches, the 20-watt power output hits the sweet spot.

I appreciate how the forest green color gives it a rugged, tactical look compared to standard office-gray gear. Just remember that you will need four C batteries to get this thing running properly.

Comparing this blue model directly to the green version above reveals nearly identical internal specs, right down to the 20 watt power rating and four C battery requirement. The main difference lies in the aesthetic, alongside a more modest 400+ yards range specified for tighter spaces.

I view this one as a solid backup choice if you prefer blue team colors over green. But I would advise checking your distance needs first, since the lower projected range means it is best kept to closer-range crowd control.

This flagship model became popular largely on its reputation for heavy-duty crowd control, and that market angle completely holds up in practice. When you need to command attention over a massive area, the massive 50W power and detached microphone change the game entirely.

I would easily point most professional organizers toward this unit because the 1554 meters range leaves smaller bullhorns in the dust. You do trade away the pocket-sized convenience of a folding handle, but the sheer audio output makes up for the bulk.
