Mailbox hardware has recently moved toward modular components that simplify the transition from wood doors to masonry openings. I have compared these designs based on buyer feedback and material longevity to help you secure a clean finish. My analysis suggests that choosing the right sleeve depth is the most critical step for success. Here is my ranking of the most reliable brick-compatible hardware.

Choosing Between Them
I recommend the Stainless Steel Mail Slot Sleeve as the premier choice for homeowners who need a durable finish for brick installations. It is my preferred solution because the material integrity is far superior to plastic versions, making it the most reliable pick for a permanent installation.
You should note that this product requires a precise fit, as the fixed sleeve depth does not accommodate walls that are thicker than 1.625 inches. If your masonry wall is unusually deep, you might need to seek a custom extension, but for standard applications, this remains the most dependable hardware on the market.
