Nokta Simplex Ultra Field Test: The 7 Best Options, Ranked by Real Buyer Feedback

This model earned its solid ranking thanks to the fully carbon fiber shaft, which provides exceptional durability without adding unnecessary weight to your arm. I find that the 16-foot waterproof rating makes this a remarkably versatile machine for both shoreline strolling and serious wading. You get a well-balanced frame that reduces fatigue during long outings.

The main limitation here involves the audio gear because Bluetooth headphones are entirely missing from this specific box. Buyers frequently mention needing to purchase separate listening accessories if they prefer private audio signals. Even with that small omission, the lightweight 2.6 pound build keeps this detector high on my recommendation list.

This complete package is designed specifically for complete bundle seekers who want all their gear in one single purchase. You receive a waterproof pinpointer alongside a heavy-duty stainless steel digger, which eliminates the hassle of sourcing tools separately. I consider this the fastest way to get fully equipped for a weekend dig.

The inclusion of the digger with cutting edge teeth helps slice through stubborn tree roots and dense soil with minimal effort. You also get robust lighting features like an LCD backlight and an LED flashlight for evening searches. Some users might find that buying a complete set costs more upfront than purchasing bare detector units.

One fascinating detail about this top-tier kit is the inclusion of the Accupoint pinpointer, which features a vivid color LCD screen to display target details right before your eyes. I rank this package first because it combines wireless audio freedom with high-end accessories into a truly professional set. You also get extra gear like a finds pouch and a leg holster.

The detector itself relies on an upgraded carbon fiber shaft and a completely waterproof housing rated down to 16 feet. While the initial investment is higher than basic models, the sheer completeness of the kit justifies the cost. I would point most dedicated hobbyists directly to this comprehensive bundle for their primary setup.

The most common complaint surrounding wireless audio kits involves the absence of a bundled pinpointer, leaving users to source their own pinpointing tools. I think this package still offers a very balanced picture for anyone who prioritizes cord-free listening above all else. You receive the capable Simplex Ultra detector along with dedicated wireless headphones.

The 11-inch search coil provides great ground coverage, while the lightweight carbon fiber shaft prevents shoulder strain. Buyers appreciate having the freedom of wireless audio without paying for accessories they might not want. You will simply need to budget for a separate handheld pinpointer if you prefer using one.

Comparing this option directly to my top overall pick reveals a very similar core detector, minus the wireless headphones found in the WHP bundle. I view this as an ideal middle ground for detectorists who prefer using wired headphones or built-in speakers while demanding precise pinpointing technology. You still get the stellar Accupoint handheld tool with its vivid color screen.

The inclusion of the high-resolution pinpointer makes target recovery significantly faster and less frustrating. You retain the waterproof construction and the lightweight carbon fiber frame that define this new generation of detectors. Some buyers might miss the full set of extra apparel accessories, but the core hardware remains top-notch.

This machine earned its initial market reputation as an accessible entry point for newcomers who wanted modern detecting tech without a massive price tag. After assessing how well that reputation holds up, I can confirm it delivers reliable performance for basic beach and land hunts. You get a slightly smaller 9.5-inch waterproof DD coil that handles trash-heavy areas quite well.

The simpler feature set lacks some of the advanced adjustments found on the Ultra tier. I think it serves casual hobbyists wonderfully, though experienced detectorists might outgrow its capabilities quickly. You also trade away the carbon fiber shaft for a more standard build material.

This specific accessory earned its spot on the list because its single biggest strength is providing reliable power connectivity for firmware updates and battery charging. I consider a dependable spare cable an absolute necessity for keeping your main detector running smoothly. You avoid downtime by having a dedicated backup cord ready in your gear bag.

The compatibility stretches across multiple Nokta models, including the Anfibio and Kruzer lines. While it is certainly not a standalone metal detector, it solves a very specific maintenance headache for existing owners. Buyers appreciate having a factory-original replacement option available when original cords wear out.
