Many collectors struggle with figures that look great on a shelf but fall over if you breathe on them. After analyzing the available options and buyer sentiment, I have parsed out which figures actually justify their price. My view is that the articulation system defines the value here. Let us see if you prefer a statue-like display or a dynamic action pose as I rank these two contenders.
1. Kaiyodo Revoltech NR061 Amazing Yamaguchi Agent Venom Total Height Approx. 6.7 inches (170 mm), Non-Scale, PVC, ABS, POM, Pre-Painted Action Figure, Resale
The main reason I rank this version first is its unmatched articulation. It uses a specialized joint system that lets the figure contort in ways most action figures simply cannot, making it a dream for anyone who loves dramatic, gravity-defying displays.
In my view, this is the definitive choice for those who value poseability above all else. While the complex joints can look a bit busy, they provide the range of motion needed to mimic the fluid, shifting nature of a symbiote creature. Just keep in mind that the high degree of movement requires a bit more patience to balance correctly.
Buyers frequently praise the vast range of motion provided by the specialized joints.
The intricate sculpting makes this a standout piece for high-end collectors.
Users note that the figure requires careful handling due to the complexity of the parts.

2. Marvel Legends Agent Anti-Venom 6-Inch Action Figure Exclusive | Marvel Legends 6 Inch Action Figure 80 Year Anniversary – Agent Anti-Venom Exclusive
This figure is best for the traditional collector who wants a reliable, sturdy centerpiece for their shelf. It focuses on a clean, premium aesthetic that honors the character design without the mechanical visual clutter found in more complex lines.
I think this represents a balanced, classic approach to the character. It provides enough articulation for standard display options, though it lacks the extreme flexibility of the Yamaguchi line. If you want a figure that stays in a stable pose without much fuss, this is the one I would point you toward.
Collectors appreciate the clean design that fits well alongside other 6-inch figures.
The inclusion of multiple accessories adds value for display purposes.
Feedback indicates that the articulation is sufficient for most standard shelf poses.

Choosing Between Them
I recommend the Kaiyodo Amazing Yamaguchi for anyone prioritizing extreme, life-like movement, while the Marvel Legends line is the superior choice for collectors building a unified, classic-style display. In my assessment, the Kaiyodo Revoltech is the top choice because its articulation system allows for dynamic, comic-accurate stances, though you should expect a steeper learning curve compared to standard figures.
Both figures serve different needs, so your final decision should depend on your display goals. If you want to create a high-energy scene with complex angles, opt for the Yamaguchi, but choose the Marvel Legends figure if you prefer a polished, easy-to-manage addition to your collection.
